Zoom or Phone Counselling
Zoom
Zoom enables people to connect over the internet from anywhere in the world, and can be accessed on a smartphone, tablet, computer or laptop. You are able to see and hear others in the same 'session' as you and interact in a normal conversation with them. It is a secure and private way to 'meet'. If having counselling via Zoom, prior to each session, I will email you a Zoom link. This just needs to be easily 'clicked on' to access your session. If you are not familiar with Zoom, please just say, and I will be able to provide you with detailed instructions.
Phone
You may be more comfortable talking to someone without seeing them, or being seen. Or this may just be a more convenient way for you to access therapy - examples include chatting whilst walking through a park, on a lunch-break from work/studies, or just in the comfort of your own home or garden. As long as you feel the space is calm and confidential enough for you to be able to speak freely, and the phone connection is good; then therapy via phone can work very well.
